Hi,
I am having trouble having a regular note input on the 5-line stave after the application of the 5-line stave to the percussion one line stave. For example, when I do this, I can not enter notes that have sharps or flats. It seems the Finale still considers the stave to be a percussion stave not a regular 5-line stave. How to change effectively from the percussion 1 line to the standard 5 line and back?
Thanks!

Changing staff styles does not change the instrument. Finale still considers the staff to be a percussion instrument. You will need to use the Change Instrument Utility. I presume you are wanting to switch from a non-pitched to pitched percussion instrument.
