Hi. I was wondering if there is a way to add word text or notes just on the score and not on the rest of the parts. I know you can just add it in the score and unlink and hide in the parts, but is there a way to just do it in the score without having to show the hidden notes in the other parts?

An idea - works best with the Page View Style {Looseleaf Style: Current page Only}:

Add the text block in the score.
It will also be added to the linked parts.

Drag the text block to the right until it is outside the right edge of the page.
The text block will also go outside the page in the parts, i. e. it will not print.

Hold down the Override Key, and drag the text block back onto the score page.
Because of the Override Key, the positioning linking will be broken, and in the linked parts the text block will stay put outside the page.

The Override Key is the modifier key you hold down to override the default behaviour.

The default behaviour is:
Break Link if you move something in the linked part,
don't Break Link if you move something in the score.

You override that behaviour by holding down the Override Key.

Are you using Windows Finale or Mac Finale?

In Windows Finale it is the Ctrl key.
In Mac Finale it is the Command key.

I have a little appendix to this trick: The CTRL-key alone doesn't work for me in WIN-OS. But the menu command "unlink" or the key combination CTRL-ALT-SH-U. :)
