Patterson beam over barline creates ghost notes

Hi!

I have a piece in 4/4 with groupings of 3 eighth notes that go over the barline. I changed the automatic beaming from 4+4 to 3+3+2/1+3+3 so that all beams were correct except over the carline. When I select the measures and click the Patterson Beam over barlines plugin, it extends the beam but turns the notes in the next measure into grey "ghost" notes that do not sound on playback.

Love your Reeds! Hate your reeds!
Sorry, just a little Clarinet Humor...

Actually, that sounds like too many beats in measure.
Is Check For Extra Notes checked?

That's the way the plugin works. It puts hidden notes in the next bar and places extra notes in the existing bar that beam over the barline. It's the design and MO of the plugin.

On the View menu you can choose not to view hidden notes.

OK, I thought they were extra notes.

Thank you, guys. I'll try turning off the hidden notes. You're brilliant!
