After adding chord symbols to charts I make for church, I click "show fretboards" and it understandably shows them for an EADGBE-tuned guitar. Is there a way to replace these fretboard pictures with those that would reflect ukulele fingerings? All my teenagers here play the ukulele and it'd be a lot more helpful to them.

If you control-click a fretboard's handle you'll see "Edit Fretboard". Then you can "Edit Instrument" and click the "Available" pop-down and select ukulele. This does them one at a time. Someone else may know a way to change them all at once, but once you have done 3 or 4 chords you can copy and paste.

Since there are different Uke tunings, let's start with the question "which one?". Once we know, then we can proceed.

P.S.: Whoever programmed the Finale Uke fretboards didn't really know the differences. The indicated fingerings are for the baritone Uke, but the strings are tuned to the standard Uke C tuning (non-linear), which is for a different instrument. Things can be fixed, but knowing the desired tuning is the first step.

Go to a music store and try out different brands.
Ask other players what they like, and try their instruments.

Finale folks.
I have complained about ukulele fret boards for years. Apparently Make Music could care less. I note that there are 1100 hits on your question. Maybe Make Music should pay a bit of attention.

Bob,
Remember that this is not the "official" Finale forum. Go to https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/ ... t_activity and submit a complaint. We all know nothing will come of it, but still, they can't say that nobody ever complained about it.
