Hello,
Just wondering, is there away is there any way I can easily change all of the chords that I entered with the chord tool into standard notes to appear on the staff?
Thanks.

No. Sorry.
To expand on that just a bit, many find the chord configurations sorely lacking, and prefer to enter their own voicings.

I notice you use Windows. The following free download may be of interest. It shows the written notation for chords and the piano fingering.

There is no built-in function for "rendering" chords, but there is still a way to do it:
1. Write your piece with chord symbols in a spare staff, preferably on its own independent MIDI channel
2. Save your work "As" a MIDI file
3. Open the MIDI file in Finale
(Thanks to Brian Steel for this tip)
However, as Mike Rosen points out, the chord voicing will be lousy, since Finale does not consider chord context.
The same chord symbol will get the same voicing everywhere in the document, no matter the context.

Actually, if you highlight the measure(s), then in the MIDI/Audio menu under MIDI clipboard, choose Export MIDI to clipboard, the data representing the notes of the chords will be stored. Then, select which measure(s) you want for the rendering of the chords, and choose Import MIDI from clipboard. The chords will be in root position, and there may be some enharmonic inconsistencies, but the notes will be there.
