Inputting a melody in Eb which contains some F#s. Second chorus, same thing but in E, so copied and changed via Key Sig tool. Default Spelling checked. Am I the last person to discover some long-standing bug that caused the F#s to become Abbs instead of Fxs? (Finale 25 Windows)

I get Fx (F double sharp), which is what it should be.

Zuill, I love you, but unless you're inviting me to move in with you and use your rig from now on, I'm afraid that's not a helpful response.

Check out your Finale Preferences.
Here's a way to do it without trashing them, in case your current prefs are OK.

If you can post your file, someone might be able to figure it out. Transposing staff?

How about if you set Finale's Enharmonic Spelling to 'Use Spelling Tables'?
