Hello, I'm running Finale 2011 on Windows, and I am wondering how to remove the intermediary barlines between staves in a group. This is a 4-part men's choral piece that I am engraving and I started off with a "piano" and renamed the staff and bracket, if that is pertinent information.

This is what I have: https://imgur.com/a/fp4GW

This is what I want: https://imgur.com/a/cSJ6I

Thanks!

The bracket at the left indicates that you have a staff group.

You can edit your staff group:
Staff Tool.
Staff menu > Groups and Brackets > Edit…
The dialog box Group Attributes appears.

In the top left corner, use the pop up menu to select the staff group you need to edit (there is probably just one staff group).

In the pop up menu Draw Barlines, choose Only on Staves.

By The Way:
There are some interesting options in
Document menu > Document Options > Barlines
namely
Close Barline at End of Each System
and
Close Barline at End of Piece
