Can anyone tell me if the strange double stem notes are kosher for triangle? INput them with the sound from my midi controlling keyboard.

If not, how can I get them to be normal notes but still sound like triangles. Went in to the percussion map editor, but couldn't figure it out.

Also, on the tom clefs, the same percussion map editor didn't have those way low notes, so I couldn't figure how to grab them and pull them up closer to the staff.

Thank you in advance.

Did you create the Triangle Layout yourself? If so, you'll need to see about fixing it. instead of choosing noteheads for some of the instruments, you chose notes with stems. that was your mistake.

Regarding the Toms, I think you entered notes that aren't in the Layout. That's why they are off the staff. Change them to notes in the layout with the Transpose percussion notes utility.

I can see what happened to the triangle font. You changed it from Maestro Percussion to Maestro. Change it back to Maestro Percussion for the normal look.

Look in Staff Attributes. There's a selection for Independent Elements/Notehead Font. That's where you'll see it's Maestro. I changed it to Maestro Percussion. I just retried things, and just by unchecking that box, it will fix things, as you have the default percussion font already chosen in your document options. If you just uncheck the box, it returns to proper notation for the triangle.

Thank you master Zuill. I have no idea how that got checked, as I used an automatic instrument add.
BTW, that was the strangest alternate notehead ever. (using an entire 1/6 note as a notehead.)
