I guess I would suppress cautionaries with the measure attribute and add the clef as an expression. With Maestro, use 18 point.

You could use the Measure Attributes, or a staff style to hide the time signature in the following measure.
In that way the cautionary time signature will be hidden, too.

Another solution would be an extra, inserted measure in a separate system.
If you, in the Page Layout menu, de-select “Avoid Margin Collisions”, then you can position the separate system outside the right edge of the page, so that the separate system will not print.

In the extra measure, keep the same time signature as in the previous measure.

By 'cautionary', do you mean 'courtesy' clefs and time sigs at the end of a system, warning that they are going to change? Because those are separate settings, in Doc Opts > Clefs and Time Sigs respectively.

Otherwise, if you just want the current time sig to appear in a given measure, you can use Measure Attributes to Always Show the TS.

Or do you mean something else?

"Cautionary" and "courtesy" are the same thing. I didn't know about the document options. That seems easiest, provided you don't mind it occurring globally.

It seems unusual that anyone would want to hide a courtesy time signature. I wonder if something else is going on here, like the need for a "display as" time signature change.
