Mac. Finale V25.5

I have my Page Margins set to .5 inches on all sides.

When I print my charts, I select "PRINT", then SAVE AS PDF. It looks as if the top Margin isn't set to .5 inches and the bottom text (which is set right at the margin) is really close to the bottom of the page.

I'll upload the Finale file and the PDF I'm referring to if it helps. (I had to save the PDF as a JPEG in order to upload it here).

Can someone show me what I"m doing wrong?

thanks!

Doing some research I found this

https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/ ... n-Printing

Customer service said
Thanks for contacting MakeMusic Customer Success. I can certainly help you with that. What we have found is that Sierra is imposing it's page size into Finale. If you go to Page Setup (File > Page Setup) and add a custom size you'll want to change the non-printable area as .11 all the way around. This should change the non-printable area for all of the page styles. If you find this adjustment does not quite meet you'll simply need to adjust this custom setting until it fits.
That seemed to work (photo attached). But now I'm wondering how to have my custom sized paper now be the default size whenever I'm going to print my charts.

Try this:

While viewing the linked part you need to save as PDF, go to
Graphics Tool.
Graphics menu > Export Pages…
Export as PDF

This is also a little faster than “printing” to PDF.
Also, you get a smaller file size, and the PDF file is in true Black-and White.

This did work, however, it only does one part at a time and it won’t allow me to print Display Colors (which I use).

The margins were correct when I used this procedure.

I typically use PDF's on a tablet, so printing physical copies aren't usually an issue.

But, when I do need to print physicals, the scale is not correct.

I did what Finale suggested in creating a custom paper size and adding .11in on all sides.

But, when the print dialogue comes up, I have to "SCALE TO FIT" to the custom paper size and it scales down to 97%.

How can I get my margins correct so I can simply press PRINT and the ink won't be cutoff?

I'm using an HP envy 4500 printer.

Attached are some screenshots.

Change the Scaling to 100%, and save it in your Print Preset.

If it's scaled to 100%, the ink gets cutoff a little around the edges.

Point being, when I click "SCALE TO FIT" it goes down to around 91%. I'd like to output my finale PDF to the exact proportions so scaling won't be necessary.
