change vertical position of a group of notes

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to change the vertical position of a group of notes, if i use the notehead position menu, if I select a group of notes it only affects the first note for vertical position.
I was wondering if there is a Finale Script or another function to modify the vertical position of more than one note at once, it is useful when you use custom noteheads for extended techniques.
