Cue notes
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
How do I change the stem directions on cue notes? I copied an alto sax part into the bass part as cue notes and it would be good if all the stems on the cue note were up. They are down now and interfere with the regular bass part notes.

I would
- keep the cue in a separate (unused) layer, e. g. Layer 4, *)
- in the Document Options, set the stem direction for the cue layer (Document Options > Layers).
*) To work only on a specific layer:
Document menu > Show Active Layer Only
Show Active Layer Only also means Edit Active Layer Only
To move selected notes to a specific layer:
Edit menu > Move/Copy Layers…
By The Way:
There is an Add Cue Notes plug-in.
Have you tried that plug-in?
