I just got a new computer with High Sierra and had to get Finale 25 after years being happy with Finale 2009. I notice a number of differences, among them there no longer is the Instrument List where I could mute or solo various instruments. Is the Mixer what they're using to replace it? I can't wait until I try to figure out how to "manage parts."

No, it’s still there. On a Mac, it’s CMD-K.

Yes, especially coming from 2009. Take your time, and expect things like this. IIRC, there is a doc somewhere showing all of the incremental changes for each year.

If, when you set up your new Mac, you migrated all of your old apps and files to it, I recommend finding and deleting Finale 2009. Not your .mus files, of course, just the application and Help files. The 2009 Finale Help files have been known to cause problems with Time Machine.
