Hi everyone!

I'm working on some rhythm exercises and I would like to introduce the new difficulty at the header-title (more or less like the image I attached). Is it possible with finale?

Thank you in advance!

I would just use the regular staff and hide the staff lines, etc.

But the example measure has another width than the first melody measure. So it would be easier to write all measures consecutively and hide staff lines etc. in the first line.

I didn't mean an additional staff, but rather the first system, which is perhaps what you're saying.

Use a staff style on the first system, something like this:

The attached was done as an Expression.

You could also create these patterns in another Finale file, with 0 line, a rectangle (shape expression) around them etc... and save an image to place into the main document via the Graphic tool. The image would easily be positioned and resized.
