Hey All, Finale 25.5 on Mac,

How can I move the attachment point of the Pedal to just before the grace notes?

I don't know if that is possible. The Pedal indication (Smart Shape) is Beat Attached, not Note Attached.

But of course the mark can be to the left of its attachment point.

If you have enough of these grace note offsets in the piece, it can be worth while making a duplicate of the Ped smart shape. Then edit it by changing the Position of the Left Start to an appropriate negative number (you'll have to experiment). Then use that copy just for these entries.

Do you want this for playback? If so, you'll probably want the grace notes included in the pedalling which is more difficult since they're before the beat. In that case, you could conceivably place the pedal mark at the end of the previous measure and slide it to the first beat of the next, while preserving the anchor point. If this happens between two systems, you'll have to hide one pedal mark and place another at the beginning of the next system.
