I can copy and paste measures of notation from one page to another but not a block of text. Any way to copy and paste or move a text block from one page to another?
I'm using v2012 of Finale in Windows 7.

Moving is easy. Just change the page number in the attributes box.Copy/past is a little harder. You create a new box in the page where needed, then go into the source box and copy. Then go to the destination box and paste.
If the text block is attached to a measure, copy the measure and paste. That will copy the text block as well.

You can copy or cut the source box first. But as Zuill points out, you must create the destination box before you can paste it.

As far as I know, the text box itself cannot be copied. But copy and paste of highlighted text into a new box reproduces a box with the same dimensions. It is only one extra click of the mouse. What I would like is the ability to choose a color for text.
a fairly simple work-around would be this:
select the text frame > right-click > Edit Frame Attributes > change Attach To Measure 1 / top (or any) staff
OK
select that measure > Ctrl-C copy (after having selected only Text in Edit Filter)
then Ctrl-Z to undo the Frame Attributes (now your text box will go back to its original position)
go to the page and measure where you want to put the copy (which is stil on your clipboard) - Insert Ctrl-V and the whole box and contents will appear there (then you can adjust its placement on the page again to whatever you want)
looks more complicated than it is
of course it would be much simpler if your text boxes were assigned to measures in the first place ...
