I'm surprised I haven't had to deal with this before.
Writing a piece for solo bass clarinet, and I want to insert fingering images as PNGs (or some other file format).
Is there a way to do this within Finale, or do I have to go graphic?
Can I insert images into my score?

It may not be relevant for Bass Clarinet.
But for other woodwind instruments, consider this:
As fingering diagrams you can use custom fretboards from the Chord Tool.
Create a fretboard for a string instrument with only two “strings”.
Choose as many “frets” as needed.
Add “dots” and “circles”.
