Finale 25.5.0.259 — Mac, MacOS 10.13.5 (High Sierra)

When playing a score back in Finale, is there any way I can turn reverb off altogether? In the Garritan player there are many options for different kinds of spatial environment and ambience, but no setting for 'no ambience, no reverb' that I can see. Any help much appreciated.

In the Aria player window, select the Effects tab. To the left of the headings CONVOLUTION and AMBIENCE is a gold toggle that looks like a volume knob. Click on these to toggle that reverb bank on or off.

Thank you very much, FwL. Now I can hear what I wrote, not what someone in a cavern might hear!

you can also simply choose reverbs that aren't as strong. there are quite a few options.

In my brief foray into Garritan, it seemed like without a lot of reverb things sounded rather artificial so one might as well use SoftSynth if what you're after is clarity.
