Hopefully I can articulate this well. I changed an oboe to an English Horn, and then back again, in the course of my score, and now I seem to have extra space at the beginning of every measure. I'm attaching a screen shot. I feel like I've encountered something like this before, and there's something like the music spacing option, or something similar that will move it back over. Anyway, thank you for your help!

Changing instruments creates gap in front of measure.

Possibly you're using a Keyless signature? It might still be allowing space for a key signature.
