Windows 7 Finale 2014.5

My HP PC was running sluggish today, so in trying to save time I kept working on this document while running the various optimization steps. Now the document won't allow to be saved anywhere, I keep getting these two messages. I don't dare close the program for fear of losing my work. Help?

This is a notorious bug. To prevent it in the future, you need to create \Documents\Finale Files\Temp and point Finale at that (Preferences/Folders) instead of the default temp directory in AppData.

I don't know if it will help you here after the fact, though. Worth a try, of course. You can also try Save As. Do you have the Autosave feature enabled?

Or, if all that doesn't work, try exporting as XML.

Did you happen to delete your temp folder? Try to clean it up? That's a problem if you did.
