Finale Forum

Hello. I have to create some musical examples to insert in a .doc file. Is there any function in Finale that allows me to do it? Or, if it's not there, how should I proceed?

One way would be to use the Graphics tool in Finale and export a graphic. This is what I have done on occasion for inserting music examples into Apple Pages for the preliminary pages of a full score. I'd suppose one could do something very similar from Finale to Microsoft Word.

Those on the forum who do this sort of thing regularly may have better advice

I often place musical symbols and short rhythmic examples in MS Word documents. I use the Bach font mostly for this purpose, occasionally Maestro for single symbols. I've attached an example.
