I'm curious how one should place the slur for this grace note.
The bottom note is tied to the main note, and placing a slur at the bottom looks odd.
User of Finale since version 3.0 on Windows.
Now using a mix of Finale 2012, Finale 25, and 26.1
GPO, Garritan Solo Stradivari violin, Gofriller Solo Cello.

thank-you Zuill.

It's a double stop on violins, so I'll go with the 2nd instance. It has to be clear that the bottom note is held in one bow stroke.

an O/T to my O/T... it's related though not to this piece. let's say there was a similar situation with double stops and some repeated notes, where you actually want the repeated notes to be re-articulated... would it be best to simply add articulations to both? (for example tenutos, or accents, depending on the dynamic)

Tenuto mark might work well in most situations, but not sure there is any rule as such.
