Friends,
How to attach slur to a hidden note? I edit a graphic score, therefore I need just that option.
Slur to invisible
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
Slurs are attached to entries and thus aren't shown when the whole entry is hidden. Instead, don't hide the entry but only its visible elements: hide the notehead with the Special Tools - Note Shape Tool and the stem/flags with the Special Tools - Custom Stem Tool. You would have to create an empty symbol with which you replace notehead and stem/flags.OCTO wrote:How to attach slur to a hidden note? I edit a graphic score, therefore I need just that option.

There are simple ways to accomplish this. If you double click, the slur won't appear. However, if you double click and hold, then drag, it will appear. Also, there's an option to attach to beats instead of notes. That might simplify things.

I have never heard about it but it works. However it doesn't snap. Maybe it is possible to use like that.zuill wrote:If you double click, the slur won't appear. However, if you double click and hold, then drag, it will appear.
The measure attached slur is known to me; I wanted just to have more "stable" slur which would snap to the note.
