Can one file be used by two versions back and forth in Finale v25 and v2014.5?

Completely compatible, but–

New features in Finale 25 will not be present when opened in Finale 2014,5, like the new dashed slurs. Make Music publishes "New Features" papers for each version of Finale. These should be given a close look.

Except these new features, one can open a file and save the same file across both versions without an issue?
I am just worried if anything will go wrong...

Thanks.
EDIT: sorry for being boring again, no matter if Finale 2014 is 32 bit, and v25 is 64?
(the problem is that the co-worker is on distance, and I cannot check everything)

No problem, the file format is common (to 2014, 2014.5, 25, 26) since 2014 : .musx (the fact that the application is 32 or 64 bit doesn't matter).

Friends, I use dashed slurs in the current document.
What will happen if I send it to my editor with 2014.5 version?

You could submit here a short excerpt (with dotted slurs, created in 25), so we could test it in 2014.5.
We could take a screenshot of the import and send you the file back, saved in 2014.5

Apparently, the dotted slurs (created in 25) are being replaced in 2014.5 by regular slurs (even below the notes)...
