What would the bowing plugin do? I'm guessing that there are so many bowing possibilities that with a plugin, it would be nearly impossible for it to guess as to what would be wanted. I don't know of such a plugin, but that might be because the task seems un-doable.

If this is for professionals, bowing is rarely needed. They'll do it themselves. If you want a specific bowing pattern that might be a little different than the norm, just indicate it.
Publishers that do educational music often bow the string parts fairly liberally. It might be worth studying some of these. After a while, you'll get the hang of bowing for younger players—it usually makes common sense. Alfred Music has entire sample scores on their website in PDF format.
