Upgraded to PrintMusic 2014. I can print the score just fine. BUT when I add graphics - no dice..... either it's black/white or nothing prints at all. I get an error message - 'unresponsive'.

Also - how do I print using coloured fonts?

Not new to PM or Finale, but new to the 2014 version.

If you're trying to print colored graphics, Finale won't do that, as far as I know. Same for colored fonts. However, the full version of Finale will print "display colors". The trick here is to change all of Finale's preset display colors to black (Preferences>Display Colors). Pick an appropriate category of text (Text Expressions, Page Text, Measure Text, Lyrics, etc.) and change the display color to whatever you want. The option for printing display colors is in the print dialog box.

You say you have Print Music but are familiar with Finale. Print Music probably won't do what I outlined, but if you have access to Finale…

Actually, Finale does print color graphics.

Make PDF page from your score, download Inkscape, open PDF in it, and than you can theoretically add whatever graphics you want, and colorise whatever symbol you want, without limit.
Than save as PDF again.

Thanks so much everyone! I was 'somehow' able to get it to print!! Sometimes it's a bit tricky and doesn't show up if I need to move/change it, but in general I'm happy with how it is working! I will also look into the other suggestions offered.
