I believe others have mentioned this, already. I am seeing a definite lag while entering or editing notes with Simple Entry in F25, since I upgraded to Mojave. It's not terrible; not as bad as I've seen it in the past. But it's certainly there.

I will open a support ticket.

I think you said you enter notes in scroll view. Try turning off Automatic Update Layout and see if that speeds things up. Don't forget to turn it back on when you switch to page view.

That didn't seem to make any difference. However, Finale suggested that I run F25 in low-res mode, and that fixed it. Now, it remains to be seen how long a patch will take...

In fact I bet it's similar to the reason turning off Automatic Update Layout used to help: Finale is unnecessarily redrawing the entire screen when it needn't.

I believe that patch will be called, 26, if I’m reading the preview notes correctly.
