Mysterious mysteries - regionally accented notes

Please see the score snippet at http:://www.gwzz.com/q-accent-bug.musx . On repeated playback on my machine, the first of the three notes sometimes plays normally and sometimes is completely silent, the second plays normally, and the third always plays, but always with an unexpected accent. Even though there is no accent mark. Subsequent notes (in the original piece) are all accented, for 245 bars, then things return to normal. If I snip out those initial three bars, the remaining notes are still unexpectedly accented. Human Playback is set to "none". VST versus MIDI makes no difference.

What in the world is going on?

I'm using Finale 2014.5 on a 32-bit Windows machine.

It would be unfortunate to have to re-enter the 245 bars...

Many thanks, in advance.

Could be a couple of things.

Are the notes repeated/quick notes (eighths and sixteenths? If so, you might try shortening the note durations with the MIDI tool, to about 90%.

If that isn't the case, select the score, right-click > Clear Selected Items > MIDI data.

See if either of those, help.

That did it! Clearing the MIDI got rid of both of my problems. At least for now. I have =no= idea how any MIDI data got in there.

4 minutes from posting to answer. Woo-hoo! Thank you.
