Finale PrintMusic 2014 Windows 10 - I am unable to enter a simple Am (or any minor chords) into my lead sheet - no problem in the vocal/piano/guitar that I had created earlier today. I imagine it has been answered but do not see it here or in the user manual. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Possibly you used a different template for the Lead Sheet? It might be that the Am is not one available in the template, but maybe Ami, or something else. PrintMusic is a more limited program than Finale, so I can't say for sure. How did you set up the 2 different files?

UPDATE - template was the issue, starting over again with Leadsheet template ... might have to upgrade to get those extra features, thank you for your quick reply
I used the wizard but will try using a template to see if that assists, thx!

If you're making a Lead Sheet from the same song, can't you just save the vocal/piano/guitar file under a different name, then delete the piano and guitar staves, leaving the vocal part with chords? Maybe that's not what you are doing.
