Hi.

Maybe someone can explain why finale 26 does not accept the TGTools pro?

TG Tools Pro works for me in Finale 26, as do the other third party plugins by Jari and Robert Patterson. What do you mean 'does not accept'? Have you installed it in the right spot?

I'd originally included a remark about needing the newest version, but I deleted it, as we've already needed the 64-bit version for several iterations of Finale. It's good to mention, though, as I don't know which Finale version Rimas is coming from.

Also-also, if you've just downloaded Finale you should shut down the computer and restart before attempting to use the software. Shut down and restart Finale after installing any plugins so they load.

I installed Finale 26 without restarting the computer and it went fine, including copying all the relevant files (fan files, templates, libraries and plugins) from Finale 25. Unfortunately I'm unable to register it: the Authorization Wizard doesn't recognise my serial number. Let's hope M.M. gets back to me asap. Grrr!

Of course, I try instal TGT 64 bit automaticaly and handly - without results. When I asked the system about possible bugs, get answer, that it is not compatible. My platform stay the same: Win 10 64x. With Fin 25.5 all was correct.

For me on Windows 7, the TGTools plug-ins are in

\Program Files\Finale 2014.5\Plug-ins\TGtools.fxt

Probably someone here will have installed V26 on Windows 10 and you give you the parallel location.

Problem is solved. Now TGTools pro exe has the Fin 26 option exactly :) Now with Fin 26 I have no any problems. Horizontal scroll navigation is more stabil. And other things do not cause me any problems. Any way I think this is a step forward.
