Nested Repeat Not Working

Using Finale 25.5.0.290 Windows 10 laptop:
trying to get nested repeat to work:
Have 1 intro bar, followed by 8 bars with forward repeat on Bar 2, Repeat1st ending/2nd ending on bars 9/10 plays through to end where I have a repeat on final bar pointing to Bar 2, jumps to bar 2 plays through to bar 8 and JUMPS to bar 10 (i.e. as if it already did the FIRST ending, even though I have indicated to RESET REPEATS). I have attachment of music if anyone can shed some light on some little mistake I must be making. Thank you in advance.

It is a famous AABA form, and it cannot be read like that nor sound like that. There is always an A missing.
To make your life easier, why don't you write out the last A (similar to A1). Replace the final repeat bar with a D.S., and place a Segno at the beginning of measure 2.

There is still an A section missing to obtain AABA (repeated) which is what is wanted I suppose (So what is a famous AABA form). Currently, A1 A2 B, A1 A2 B, etc... is what we get.
When one goes back to the top, it should actually be the last A (A1). Then a new form starts, and one needs to hear A1 again before going to A2. Visually, the score is not clear and doesn't give a correct roadmap. Hence my suggestion to add an A section at the end (similar to A1) and use D.S.

I've got a similar issue - but, I can't see how the fix is applied. I've downloaded both fixed versions - but, I'm unable to duplicate whatever was done to cause the 1st and 2nd ending to always play - no matter what.

Alrighty - I finally found how @Peter Thomsen got this to work. Using the Repeat Tool you double click the square of the 1st bracket (in the Miles Davis Finale Example attached above that'd be measure 9). From there you add the following 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19. And then add the number 1 in the alternate text field so that the 1st ending isn't cluttered with a string of mysterious odd numbers. In this specific example the outer repeat is programed to repeat 10 times - and this is why there are many numbers to deal with. I have a similar problem with a repeat and a DC al Coda and for my case I use the numbers 1, 3. I'll attach my Finale document - click on measure 7 to see my example.
I was unsuccessful in recreating the fix @zuill applied. In that case I could see that "Never Skip Ending" was used in the same dialog box. However, when I tried this I believe I got infinite loops for some reason.
