I'd like to use Finale playbacks to generate simple Youtube practice videos, by doing screen video captures. One concern: when the piece is anywhere near up-tempo, Finale's playback cursor can get really twitchy as it jumps really fast from note to note.
Is there any way to modify the behavior of Finale's playback cursor? I would wish, in my dreams, that Finale could simply quietly highlight the entire current measure, instead highlighting note-by-note.
(The only control of the Playback cursor that I've discovered is a color change: View / Select Display Colors / Playback Cursor.)
I *could* try to write post-production software to clean up the cursor... but, rather not.
