Playback Controls Playback Region Problem

Clicking "Leftmost Measure" always works correctly. But when I enter a measure number in Playback Region in the window below Leftmost Measure (see attachment), playback sometimes begins at the last indication, not the measure I had just entered. After I press the stop button and start again, playback then works correctly, playing back from the measure I entered. This problem occurs both when I enter only the measure number, erasing the contents of the window, and when I enter only the measure number in xx|x|0000. Sometimes, about a third of the time, Finale plays back correctly on the first try after entering a new measure number. The problem occurs in all Finale documents.

Am I doing something wrong to cause playback most often to play back from the previous indication first before playing back from the measure indicated?

Mac and Win probably work differently here. Maybe you paused in stead of stopped. After pressing stop, it looks like things cleared.

Thanks, Zuill. I'm sure I'm pressing Stop. And the measure setting doesn't clear after pressing Stop. That's why after playing back from the previous setting, I press Stop and Play again, and it then plays back at the setting I entered.

The behavior issue might be unique to Mac. I can't seem to get it in Win.
