Hi all,

Is there a way to make expressions stick to bars even if you delete the notes or rests to which the said expressions are attached?

Sometimes, I desire to delete some notes and notate better ones, but of course the expressions get deleted too. I wish to make the expressions sticky.

Cheers,
Hector

Use Clear Selected Items and only clear notes.

You could also try using the Simple Entry Tool with the mouse. The repitch tool does what you'd think. You can click on a quarter note with the eighth note cursor and change its value to an eighth, etc. Dynamics and articulations stay sticky.
