Is it possible in Finale 26 / Windows 8.1 to show the Mixer with more than 16 channels? (without having to scroll to the right) Can it be adjusted shomewhere to be wider?

I just tried it with 20 channels, and they all show. What is your limitation? The screen width?
Have you tried dragging the mixer window wider. On my Mac, I can drag it from either side, and it accordians in or out.

No, although a laptop, the screen is quite big (18.4"), about double the width of the mixer with its 16 channels+Master. I can drag it to the left to make it smaller (down to 1 channel + Master), but not to the right. To see the channels from 17 on I have to scroll with the little arrow on the bottom. But note that this is Windows Finale 2014.5 (does anyone else have that same issue with that system?) and I was wondering if in Finale 26 that may have been changed.miker wrote:What is your limitation? I have 2014.5 on Windows and it seems to be fixed at 16 channels. Unlike you, I can't even make is smaller. Even though the window resizing cursors appear, they do nothing when I drag them. And the scrolling arrow is very, very slow to respond.
I'm afraid this is another thing MakeMusic blew. I suspect there are standard Windows calls they could have used to handle this, which would just work, but it looks like instead they decided to grow their own. Perhaps it's very old. It's extremely unlikely they've fixed it in a newer version, I think, but I would love to be proved wrong.
Edit: I take it back--I can resize it from the right edge to make it smaller, but not larger, as you say. Perhaps it's from the days when there were 16 channels max.
