Hi when I write something and it comes out the last bar has only one measure, by default finale puts this one measure over the whole width of the paper. Is there a way to control the bar to make it as narrow as I fancy?
P.S. I'm delighted that the Finale forum is back on it's feet again.

Click on the measure and press the up button and it will move to the previous system.

Use the Page Layout Tool.

If you are in a hurry, you may prefer the “qiuck-and-dirty” solution of adjusting the system margins via dragging.

For a precise adjustment, click the system to select it.
Then, go to
Page Layout menu > Systems > Edit Margins…
(or go via the context menu)

Another solution would be to bring down measures from systems above until the last system is full.
