And how could I delete page 6?
I inserted a blank page to write the notes, but when I delete p. 6 page 5 is deleted, too

Highlight the measure stack with the Selection Tool and press Delete.

It doesn't work that way, zuill, because it deletes page 5, too

Copy the text into the clipboard first, delete the last measure, then add a blank page and paste the text back. Be sure to turn off the Simple or Speed entry option "Create new measures," which is probably what happened.

I see why I was able to do it and you weren't. The first time I did it in Finale 25. It does it just fine (deletes the extra measure as I said). In Finale 2014, it does not. So, dare I say they fixed something in v25?

Thank you both, zuill and motet.
I did 2 things:
1) save the revised version of zuill, and
2) copy de text and then I did as motet said.

The problem has nothing to do with Simple entry options/Create new measures.

But if I need to do it again in the future i'll be obliged to do as motet said

I was merely speculating on how the extra measure happened. With that option set, if you have "jump to next measure" and you're editing the last measure, it will create a new one.
