Hi,
I'm using Finale 26 and my smart shapes isn't adjusting the new note height when transposing from concert pitch to the designated pitch of the instrument, such as Clarinet. I have to manually adjust my hairpins and etc. This occurs when transposing Bass Clef concert Bass Clarinet to standard treble bass clarinet transposition of the 9thvb. The slurs are OK. Why the hairpins? Attached is a sample file?
Best regards,
Hadley

If your score is in concert C and the parts are transposed, you're going to have to adjust hairpins separately on score and parts. Finale has not yet reached the point of "magnetic" adjustments of hairpins.

Hi all,
I've found TG Tools adjusts hairpins, etc. Works great.
I have found a couple of web sites in Google search of Finale tutorials that cover collision avoidance.
Best regards,
Hadley
