Mac - Finale v26

I have a chart that starts in 12/8 and goes to 4/4 for two bars before repeating back to the 12/8 through a first ending. The second ending continues on in 4/4. See image:

I want to put a cautionary "12/8" at the end of the first ending, but am struggling to find an option that allows this. Is there a setting or work around that will allow this?

One way is to add extra space at the end of the measure (last bar of first ending) and add the 12/8 as an expression.

you can add an extra measure into the first ending, set the time signature to 12/8 for this measure. add a notesystem style "empty lines" and open the settings for the measure to set the width to zero. Update layout...
