I've got a vocal line as a cue and would like to show the lyrics normal size, not scaled with the cue notes. Is there a way to tell Finale not to scale the lyrics?

That's what I ended up doing, though I would have preferred to unscale them to the cues but subject them to page scaling to match other text. But it came out OK.

It used to be that lyrics scaled to Grace Notes. Sometime back, they changed that. I don't believe there is an opotion for Lyrics for that. Fixed Size can have it's own oddities. I often just use a size proportional to the percentage reduction. So for 75%, if the normal size for lyrics is 12, I would then possibly use 16 for those lyrics, resulting in the equivalent size of the text matching the 12 elsewhere.

That's a good idea. A fixed size of 11 point doesn't quite match 12 point subject to 85% part scaling. Thanks for the tip.

You can also paste in the melody and lyrics, flip them to layer 4, and apply the Staff Style "Blank Notation–Layer 4". Only the lyrics will show but will be full size. Then copy and resize the melody for the cue into another layer.
