A frequent request from Finale users is to be able to place some annotations, "post-it" style, on the score (and/or) parts.
I can't resist to mention an elegant solution, a JW Lua script created by chris on the French forum "Finalisons".
OK, it is in French, but it is self explanatory. It requires Finale 25 at minimum.
A date/time is visible at the top of the "post-it". A maximum of 5 lines of text. Non-printable. They are shape expressions, and can be displayed on the score and/or the parts.
It is available here (you may have to register as a member) : https://finale-logiciel-aide-gravure-mu ... =15&t=6702.

A long awaited feature! Many thanks.

Now, of course, I have to download JW Lua and learn something else...

Very cool!

"1st line, 2nd line," is somewhat unfortunate. Isn't there a way inputting multi-line text in JW Lua?
