Please clarify. Do you mean the pickup measure? And which instrument?

Do you mean that stray G in the violin part? I used Speedy and clicked the pickup and deleted it there.

If you want to do it with Simple Entry, ctrl-click the E in the first full measure. It will highlight the E. Then press the left arrow and the G will be highlighted. Press Delete.

VIOLIN 1, measure 1 (not the pickup measure)

With Speedy entry I delete all the notes, but G remains

Did you follow my instructions. I think you missed something. Ctrl-click the E when in Simple Entry. Then press the Left Arrow (virtually a back key) and then the G is highlighted. Then press delete.

Yes, I think I followed your instructions. But the highlited G is not the problem. It's the other G that remains.
Could you, please, attach that measure 1 of Vioin 1 without any notes at all?

Here are before and after shots. Maybe I am not sure what you really want.

I don't think the G is in the first measure; it is in the pickup measure but being pushed into the first measure for some reason. Try what I wrote above: use Speedy and click in the pickup measure. For me that shows the G with the cursor on it. Click Delete. Or use the Selection Tool and highlight the pickup measure and clear or delete.

Thank you very much, Bill,
I was wrong following your instructions on the first meausure.
Now I did as you said, on the pickup measure and it works.

Thank you very much for your time, Bill and zuill
