I've just noticed that the first movement of a three-movement work (prepared as single file with Finale) lacks bar numbers, whereas the numbers are present in the second and third movements. Does anyone know what the cause could be, and how to fix it?

Solved!! Something had gone wrong with the measure number regions (unexplicably showing wrong numbers).

I thought I had solved the problem, but now the bar numbers are showing for every bar, and I cannot seem to remove them (I only want them at the beginning of each system).

In the measure number region, check the box "Show on Start of Staff Sytems". The box "Show on every..." should be unchecked.
Verify also the parameters for parts.

I had already selected/deslected those settings, michelp, but the bar numbers are still there!

There are separate settings for score and parts. Make sure you're changing the right oone. Attach your file if you want, and someone will figure it out.

I managed to fix things by returning to default settings for measure numbers. Thanks for your help.
