I'm numbering songs for a theatrical production.

This is a TEXT BLOCK. (The number "1")

How do I get the frame to be square? It's rectangle as seen but I'd like it to be perfectly square.

You'll have to create a Custom Frame. Considering you are using what appears to be the Broadway Copyist font, wouldn't a better look be the traditional hand drawn frame?

P.S.: A picture comparing some options when using the Broadway Copyist Font.

Thanks Zuill

I'm using the Finale Copyist Font.
I'll try and create a frame myself. I'll research that.

I've wondered why text blocks don't have enclosures like expressions. Having to do it with the shape designer is pretty unwieldy and requires lots of trial and error.

I've done a sample with the Finale Copyist font. It took some trickery to get it to look right however. Odd.

The Finale Copyist sample is on the far left.

There are a number of text fonts that already include rectangles, squares or circles around the letters.
