INSERT measure

For some reason I cannot insert 1 measure between m. 17 and 18. It cuts the score
I appreciate your always valuable help

No problem here. I first selected measure 18, and used the contextual menu or the Edit menu command : "Insert Measure Stack".

Thanks, michelp, but I cannot open yours.
Besides what you did is the same I am doing, but it cuts me the score.
I tried in some other score I have and that is not happening. Perhaps I change something in the process of writing this score in particular?

Sounds like your preferences might be corrupt. Have you tried to fix them?
I am not sure I understand what you mean by cuts the score.

reduces the score, delete about 10 or so pages
How do I fix them?

Get rid of the %20 twice in the file name, they replaced the space.

Since this score only has 9 pages, needless to say, I'm confused.
I was able to add a measure in 2014 and in Finale 25, and no deletion of pages.
It does sound like maybe your preferences need regenerating. Worth a try. Back up the preferences file first, in case it doesn't fix the problem, and you want to restore them to their original settings.

I beg your pardon. I meant were deleted so many measures, not pages.
