Hello,

I have been trying to fix the formatting on my school but haven't had any luck. Could someone do it for me and help me? I need this done by Friday. I am new to finale and this seems like it would take 10 minutes for someone with finale experience. I would rather be done with this since I am on spring break.

My trouble is that the spacing of the staves needs to be fixed and the dynamics do not line up properly. I know measure 49 is messed up too.

Thanks so much in advance! :D

Somebody with Finale 26 will have to help. Opening it in Finale 25 ruins some of the formatting. MakeMusic has made compatibility between versions a mess when they introduced a new articulation positioning paradigm in Finale 26.

Maybe somebody with Finale 26 can help.

As far as bar 49, use Special Tools/Note Position Tool to fix that. Select all the handles in that measure and choose the option to clear the manual positioning. In Windows, it is with the Backspace key. You'll have to find out what works for Mac.

I did some fiddling around. Hope this gives some ideas.

Hopefully, when you open the file in Finale 26, the articulations will be positioned correctly. I didn't do anything with them. In Finale, they all look wrongly positioned. That is the conversion issue I mentioned earlier.

P.S.: I did some more editing. Many of the slurs where not properly attached to the right notes. I also cleared the articulation positioning for a proper look (or better, at least) for Finale 25. Hopefully Finale 26 opens and looks okay. Question: do the 8va signs mean from that point on? If so, you might want to make it read "8va to end".

A couple more tweaks.
