Am just curious what Digital Audio Workstations (Cubase, Reaper, Protools) etc. people prefer to use with Finale 25 (Mac version).

I am looking for the best sound output and the Aria/Garritan sounds just do not cut it for me. I am also looking too add sounds and vocal.

Thanks!
Casey

Many have 30 day demos. "Best" is subjective. Logic Pro is very good and only $200 but supports AU only—no VST or VST3. Others might not support AU.

One way is to link to Finale 25 and 26 to your DAW through Rewire. The other way is to export your files via MIDI or MusicXML and import them into your DAW from there. I have Logic which supports supports MusicXML import. Digital Performer, my DAW of choice, supports MIDI import but not .xml. Reaper is inexpensive and supports both but its workflow... life's too short IMO.
