Multiple note corrections (editing)

Inserting multiple articulations can be done reasonably effectively using the drag/mark method, however, if I have a bar with 12 triplets:
|Fb G Fb G Fb G....| (this is written of coarse as |Fb G F G..... |
and want to change the flat to a sharp
|F# G F# G...| (to give me |F# G F G.... |
then have to correct all the remaining F's in the bar if I want then to maintain the F# notation,
otherwise they retain the original Fb notation.
|F# G Fb G... | (want is wanted is |F# G F G... |
Is there a quick fix for this?
