I created cues in the drum set part for a jazz band chart I am working on and somehow the rests for all the parts now appear above the staff like cues. I only selected the Drumset staff when I created the layer for cues and nothing I do now seems to alleviate the problem. Suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Did you change anything in Layer Options that may have affected rests on all of the staves in the score? Did you use the Move Rests plugin and accidentally move rests where you didn't want to?
It would help to see a small Finale file–just a single page of score. You can attach it here.

Here it is -
If i copy it all into a new score it goes back to normal but I lose all the cues in the drum part.

Just now noticed in looking closer stems are all up as well. I must have done something when setting up my score for cues. I followed the tutorial word for word I must have missed a step.

The Layer Options for Layer 1 were wrong–that's why the rests and ties were positioned incorrectly. It might be a good idea to not change the Layer Options for layer 1 and 2–just leave them as the default. Your rhythmic cues for the drums are in Layer 4, so you can change the Layer 4 options to position stems and ties up and rests floating above the staff. See the attached file.

Ugh I must have inadvertently changed that when I was setting up layer 4 - How do I go back and undo that?
