I make charts based off of a template. That is based off of the Broadway Copyist and Finale fonts.

I'm doing a new project where I'd like it to look a little more professional and the Broadway/Finale fonts look a little too hand-drawn to me.

I've changed all the existing text/expression fonts ... but have hit a little snag in the chord fonts.

My usual chord font is Finale Copyist Text with the Broadway Copyist for alterations.

Is there a way to simply replace the existing chords (suffix, alterations, etc) with a nicer font of my choosing?

A lot of chords are based off of chords I've made myself over the years and how I like to read them. I'm sure it'll take a little work but was wondering what my jumping off point would be.

Any help is appreciated!

I think I figured it out using "CHANGE CHORD SUFFIX FONT".

But it's messed up all the chords I've constructed myself :(

You might want to create a library with your own created suffixes, make changes to the existing suffixes, then import yours back in. That will avoid the change to your own suffixes.

As I feared ... I think your answer is what I need to do .. which will take some time. But if that's what I need to do .. I'll grab some coffee and get cracking.

Is there a way to completely replace a chord suffix library? Whenever I import a library, it ADDS to library to my current one and then the library is HUGE.

How do I replace instead of add?

You delete all the existing suffixes first.
